I know you get asked this question lots on here. So does anyone have any thoughts what Dizzy is crossed with. She is def part foxhound.

that's ok tho, the not knowing... I have 2 that although I know they have some type of terrier, I really have no idea what they are... except gorgeous, wonderful dogs! and yours is too btw!
These are the rest of her litter who have more brown on them so look a bit more foxhoundy!! Sorry for the poor quality!
I'd say pointer x collie? Surely a foxhound couldn't have escaped somewhere and mated with a collie??? How do you know for sure about the foxhound bit then???:?
My friend had a spaniel pointer x & looked alot like this, but more Spaniely, The pups in the nest look VERY collie. Id really Go for Pointer x Collie!!!!!!
Which one did you think Boxer? I have wondered about springer too! Well the litter was dumped in Ireland. I was led to believe that mum is a foxhound and the Dogs Trust have completed the paperwork to say that she is a foxhound x. So I took them at their word. In researching I believe that the foxhound owners take them up to the farms to walk them??? So maybe an accidental mating with a farmdog?? I'm off to have a closer look at a pic of a pointer now!! Thanks for your suggestions, when I chatted to someone with foxhounds I did query whether she looked like one and they said she definately had the ears!
Ah well if she is from Ireland then collie is even more likely, we seem to get over lots of collie crosses and lurchers and JRT's
Is she showing any "pointing" charticeristics? I Think thats the thing now, to look at her natural Charteristics when out & about then add in the breeds she could be. i dont see any foxhound in there at all personally, dog charitys get it complely wrong very often!!!!!
i dont know but she is soooo cute!! i dont know for definite what jake is but by his looks and behaviour i am 99% sure he is BCxGSD, with maybe something else in the mix as well. i think she looks quite BC like, i dont know a lot about foxhounds but i see what you mean about the ears.
